The Reedsport Main Street Program had a table at the Chainsaw Carving event that every person entering the event passed by! We were selling raffle tickets for a custom chiseled bench made by Bill Hardy, Main Street T-shirts and Tote Bags as merchandise, and engraved Bricks for our Downtown Walk of Fame! Thank you Signs and Shirts Unlimited for pumping out merchandise for us and helping to fill individual orders through the event. I want to sincerely thank all of our volunteers that helped out with the event and promoting our Main Street Program from Thursday through Sunday. You all are responsible for the donations and sales we made and for helping to spread the word on our developing projects here in Reedsport. YOU ALL ROCK!
We raised a whopping $802 in support of our Steam Donkey Rehabilitation Project! Those funds came in through donations and raffle ticket sales! We also raised $243 from merchandise sales and over the weekend there were 14 bricks purchased!! Our projects are becoming a reality!!!!
We are going to be placing our first brick order on Wednesday morning. If you have not purchased a brick yet and would like your brick to be placed with the first batch and in a timely manner, please place an order before then. You can go to http://polarengraving.com/reedsportMainStreetProgram and order via paypal electronically or pick up a paper copy at City Hall and place your order with a check. We have ordered our first set of brackets and Signs and Shirts Unlimited will be printing our double-sided banners soon. With brick purchases/donations, you can help us to place banners in all three commercial districts! We also hope to have holiday and seasonal banners to help decorate the community and attract visitors to Stop Shop and Discover Reedsport.
