A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who came out last week to help us clean up the town! We had 19 people lend a hand for all or part of the day, not counting those who swung by to say hello, honked, waved, or supported us with tools, materials, and cookies! We tackled some areas that had been neglected for a long time and had a lot of fun doing it. I think all of us look at the areas we worked on with a little more affection now than we did before. If you missed this project but want to contribute to the next volunteer cleanup day, mark your calendars for Saturday, February 6th. More details to follow!
Christmas decorating time is almost here! We’ll be hanging our big wreaths along the highway soon, but first need to give them some loving. Early next week, probably Tuesday, we’re going to put on the Christmas music and get our wreaths ready to hang. Would you like to help us fluff them up, replace the lights, and make them look great? Please contact me if you’re interested and I’ll keep you posted on when and where we’ll meet.
Speaking of meetings, we’ve got ‘em. The next one is the RMSP Design Committee, which will be meeting this Thursday the 19th at 2pm in the conference room of City Hall. Turn the page to December for the Promotions Committee (Dec. 8th, 5pm at the Waterfront), Economic Development Committee (Dec. 9th, 5pm at City Hall), and Board of Directors (Dec. 15th, 5pm at City Hall.) As always, you are welcomed these meetings. There will be lots of things happening in the meantime!
Until next time,
